Travel & Accommodations

As you plan your trip to Aspen, here are a few key things to keep in mind. Since you're already making the journey, we hope you'll consider arriving a little early to explore the town and make the most of your time here.

Important note: Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) will be closed during summer 2027 for renovations. When making travel arrangements, please plan to fly into Vail (EGE), Grand Junction (GJT), or Denver (DEN). We encourage guests to arrange travel well in advance.

Eagle County Regional Airport, Vail

Approximately 1.5 hours from Aspen. The closest major airport option.

DEN

Denver International Airport

Approximately 4 hours from Aspen. The largest airport in the region, offering the most flight options, especially for international and cross-country travel.

GJT

Grand Junction Regional Airport

Approximately 2 hours from Aspen. A smaller regional airport with limited direct flights, but can be a good option depending on your departure city.

Getting Around Aspen

Aspen is very walkable, with plenty of shops and restaurants downtown.
Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are limited in Aspen. Free public buses run frequently and are easy to use.
If you are staying outside of town, we recommend renting a car. Many hotels also offer complimentary shuttles into town.
Transportation to and from the wedding venue will be provided. Additional details will be shared closer to the wedding weekend.

Where to Stay

There are plenty of great places to stay in both Aspen and Snowmass. Staying in Aspen puts you within walking distance of restaurants and shops, while Snowmass is about a 20-minute drive from downtown Aspen. We've included our room block hotels below, along with a few other options to help you find the right fit.
